Got this battery as a gift for my 80 year old father in law. He hands all his stuff that goes belly up to me to fix and his old HP camera would only hold enough charge for one or two shots. The original battery was still in it! It was so bloated that I had a time getting it out. Thankfully Amazon had this replacement so reasonably priced and saved the day. The contacts were smaller and a bit more recessed but it worked perfectly. Can’t comment on the longevity of the battery or the charge because 1) Not witnessed 2) Just recently purchased.

As much as I am thrilled that I’m able to replace my battery for my home entertainment system, the disappointment I feel after having to replace them every four months or so, is ponderous.If anyone knows a brand that actually manufactures this size battery that actually re-charges after six months, I would appreciate the recommendation.These are at best below average

NP60 lithium-ion batteries are required to power my emulsion tracking apparatus for the oscillation project I was working on. When the apparatus mistakenly identified neutrinos travelling faster than light, the first thing my team checked for was equipment malfunction. One of the old NP60 rechargeable batteries we were using could no longer hold a full charge and the power drain caused our computers to misinterpret the data. I ordered one SDNP60 lithium-ion battery to replace the faulty one, ran the test again, and the data agreed the neutrinos were travelling at the same speed as light, the originally expected results. On a similar project imaging cosmic and rare underground signals, we replaced all NP60's with the rechargeable SDNP60 lithium-ion batteries from East Coast Photo in our super proton synchrotron and our liquid argon time projection chambers, all with positive and expected results.Additionally, the SDNP60 lithium-ion battery worked like a charm in my 2nd generation Creative Labs Vado HD 720p Pocket Video Camcorder, potentially extending its lifespan another 7 years. The battery fits perfectly and allows me to record over 2 hours of video again without recharging.

I purchased this battery to replace the original battery that came with the camera. The original was no longer holding a charge. The price was good and it was delivered ahead of schedule. It seems to be working well in my camera and definitely holding a charge very well.
