Dosage Calculations for Nursing Students by Dr. Bradley is a great book to learn at firsthand or even further enhance the knowledge that they already have. The contents of the book exceed my expectations due to the following: The book is easy to read to ensure that anybody can understand it. The lessons are written concisely, yet still gives a complete explanation; the price of this book is reasonably affordable. Dr. Bradley did a fantastic job of ensuring that we can understand the entire lessons by not having to memorize so many formulae and how organized the lessons are. Definitely, I can see how Dr. Bradley is so passionate to help us, especially to those who have been struggling in math. Rest assured, Dr. Bradley will take care of us as he made a facebook group in which you can message him on whatever lessons you are struggling with. He responds instantly; thus, eliminating all of your worries away. I appreciate his technique in solving dosage calculation problems as it is way better than the traditional method. Save yourselves from all the stresses and headaches; gain confidence now by giving this book a shot.

I am terrible at math. I have a lot of trouble understanding heparin questions. I bought the kindle version on a .99 cent special and decided to give the book a try because I need to learn this stuff for nursing school, maybe this will be the book to help me. This book has helped me gain a better understanding of how to read a question first, break it apart into what I need and then how to solve each question based on the type of question. I have recommended this book already to all the nursing students in my cohort, I definitely recommend this to anyone who is struggling with drug dosage and needs it explained in a way that's easy to understand. Math is hard, why make it harder?I'd like to add that I just got a 100% on my drug dosage exam after using this book for a week before my exam.

Before using Bradley’s book I had spent so much money on actual nursing dosage calculation textbooks and various other ones that were to be helpful resources.The reason I had so many was because of my struggle so much with math, and my program never really took the time to teach it much other than there been an expectation that you’d know it and be able to get all the answers right on the dosage exam each semester.It wasn’t until using Bradley’s book that someone like me who is terrible at math actually starting feeling confident doing the problems and feeling like okay this finally is making sense and doesn’t have to be that hard.The book also isn’t very long either because it’s simplified so much but still very easy to understand. I recommend Bradley and his books to others, especially those struggling bad with dosage problems, any chance I get. He really is fantastic with what he has accomplished.

Great book and well organized BUT not really necessary. There are a whole bunch of free packets online you can easily print and put it in a binder and call it your dosage calculation book. Other than that, I think it’s pretty good

I really did...and was just going to purchase the med calc program on UWorld. I ended up not and I am so glad I didn't. I was strugggggggggglllling in med calc to the point where I almost failed out the nursing program because of it. I failed the second time taking the exam (you get three tries). By now, you can guess the emotions I was going through. If I fail the next exam, I'm out of the program. This book has saved my life!! I seriously recommend it to any nursing student who is struggling!! The book breaks down the problem, step by step using DA. I was a RP person before I staretd but have heard DA is the way to go with med calc.

I’ve been following one of the authors of this book, Bradley Wojcik, on a Facebook group since I started prerequisites for the nursing program over a year ago. I noticed every time someone asked about dosage calculations he was there with a super simple explanation. I actually wrote his name down on a piece of paper and taped it to my refrigerator so I wouldn’t forget who to ask when I finally got to nursing school. Two weeks ago I got my acceptance letter and wanted to get a jump on things so started searching that group for dosage calculations and found out Bradley has a book out now. I ordered it and am making my way through the exercises with extreme ease. I can’t believe how easy they make these calculations! I would recommend this book to anyone starting nursing or pharm tech school!

I am sorry, but I don’t see the hype about this book. I bought it cause I’m currently in nursing school and I’m terrible at math. However this book seems to use the most difficult formulas to do the calculations. I learned the old formula method, and it has been working and this book only confuses me. Sorry but it’s not for me. There are other features that i found useful like the military and civilian times etc. so for that reason i gave it three stars.

This book and the FB group helped me prepare for my pharm and foundations calculation exam. I was able to use it to supplement my textbook when I needed additional explanations or practice (which I did often because I need a little more guidance in math than is usually offered in the textbook's explanations). This book helped me score 100% on the calculations exam required to be able to pass medications during clinicals. I also was able to complete all my calculations exams so far with A's. I recommend this resource to any student that feels uncertain about their math skills or needs additional instruction/guidance. Dr. Brad will be there to help you along the way. You can do it!
