Great Adhesive
I bought this repair adhesive to fix a duffle bag that had torn and frayed. I had planned to stitch the bag closed and was hoping this adhesive might help hold things together to make the stitching more secure. Well, this stuff was better than I had hoped for! I ended up not stitching the bag at all and instead used this, cut up in smaller pieces, to close the area that had torn. It is very strong adhesive, so be careful when removing the paper, so that the tape doesn't stick to itself. The adhesive strips are very strong and flexible. I bought a second box to fix some other items that needed mending because this worked so well.

Worked Fine for Tent Mosquito Screen Repair
Though my expectations weren't high for this unfortunate and unsightly sort of tear, this product did a much better job than I anticipated patching a 3 inch rip in the screen of an MSR tent. I cut two patches the exact same size, flattened the repair area over a small piece of plywood on top of a box in order to have a surface upon which pressure could be applied, and had a helper for an extra set of hands secure the material in place while I affixed the patch and then flipped it over and put the same sized patch on the other size. We may have had a bit too much tension on the screen as it puckered a bit under the patch upon completion, but it IS 100% fixed. It's immediately evident that this is a durable material with excellent adhesion that will be a long-term repair in this specific application. Read the enclosed instructions carefully three times, read all the positive reviews here for advice, conscript a helper, and have a plan - you'll do fine. I got an extra box just in case there was an error (based on the negative reviews), but that's now in the big "repair kit" box for future use.

Very sticky, good and bad
EDIT: Now that I was able to get out with the snow suit, it handled multiple days in single and double digit snowmobiling without issue. A lot of movement as well as falling off the sled in powder and the repair is still holding strong with no water intrusion at all. In the extreme cold it did stiffen up but it was still pliable enough that it could bend.Bought this to repair a rip in a snow suit and it is STICKY. Had to use almost half the roll (my own fault) due to how sticky it was and trying to patch both the inner liner and outside material since this is a waterproof snow suit. It will grab ANYTHING, hair, dust, fiber, and itself. If it does end up sticking to itself, just scrap that piece.Once I was able to patch the inside and outside, the use of a heat gun (NOT FLAME, hair dryer will work too) did even more wonder to the adhesive. Get the patch hot enough to conform to the material and use your fingers to push it "further" into the material. The instructions do say "massage heavily" after applying. I have no worry about this keeping the suit dry nor falling apart with how sticky and pliable the patch was.

Received in good condition
TEAR-AID unisex fabric repair- product received in good condition. Fortunately, I haven’t had the need to use it on our camper. I will amend my review if I have to use it.

Amazing
Bought this kit in 2015 but didn’t end up using it for what I bought it for....Six years later the inside liners of my tennis shoes started to wear through prematurely so I figured I’d see if this tape would work instead of trying to sew a new piece of liner into them. To my surprise it did adhere to the liner fabric and has held up for a month of use now, playing 3-4 times a week for 2 hours each time!My first comment is that the tape is NOT easy to work with. I imagine it’s because the adhesive is so extremely strong though because the issue comes from it sticking to itself. Once it has stuck to itself it WILL NOT release. I suggest not taking the backing off till right before you stick it to whatever your repairing and peeling the backing as you work instead of all at once like I did. This is what they instruct as well in the instructions.I’m amazed that it has lasted even a month but it doesn’t show any signs of coming off. If I get a few extra months out of the shoes it will have been worth the cost of the kit (even if I had bought it for this purpose). Will buy again now that I know how well it works!

Works, but ...important...read my review
All in all a good product. I would buy it again. That being said.... It's a bit pricey for the quantity included. It's tape...not precious metal. I used it to repair a couple of tears in the attachment points of my polypropylene portable garage. I cleaned the area well with the alcohol pads supplied. At this point adhesion was not good. It was about 70 degrees F outside. I used a pinpoint lighter to gently heat up the material from behind without burning it and then a bit over the tape and it was like it was welded on! I cannot stress enough that if you do this ...DO NOT scorch the material or the tape! And do not cause what you're working on to go on fire! I do not speak from experience as I did not do any of that, but I can see it possibly being a problem for some people. It just needs some heat to work best...maybe a heat gun used judiciously...or even a blow dryer. Last...The backing on the tape is not easy to remove. To the manufacturer....you need to do something about the value for the money to the end user. You either need to improve on the initial adhesion of the adhesive you're using...or put the whole blow dryer thing in the instructions (or maybe the age of what I received caused that issue?) . Make the backing removal more user friendly in regards to peeling it off. Time will tell on the longevity of this product, but it's holding up so far.
