Sealed the air mattress leak but had to add E6000 to stop patch edges from peeling back
Sticks nicely to pure vinyl, but I had fuzz around the hole that it immediately detached from within 12 hours. I assume the peeling would eventually encourage the entire patch to come off, so i added some E6000 (common glue that you will find at Walmart and home improvement stores). That appears to work well and adhered well to the patch and fuzz. Doesn't look pretty with the E6000, but the mattress holds air and is no longer pealing.

Nice!
I just put this on my truck bed cover to patch some holes and so far it’s holding up great! I do wish that it came with a couple extra alcohol pads for prepping the surface but overall I think it will hold up

Mediocre at best
I used the item to patch up a hole in my air mattress. It took several attempts to get the patch to stick even after following instructions. On the third attempt, I finally did get the patch to stick, but it did not have a good enough seal to prevent air from leaking out. The air would slowly leak out over the course of the day and I would have to fill it back up with air everyday. It is a temporary fix, but not a long term solution.

IN THE SPAN OF A FEW MONTHS I FOUND THEY DID NOT WORK FOR THE HOLES IN MY FIRE PIT COVER.
I applied these patches as stated in the instructions, they have been on a week and a half. The tarp has been inside because I did not have enough patches to finish the job. The patches are already s little dog eared. For half of last summer and all of this summer I have had Gorilla Tape covering the holes. Sure it didn't look good, black tape on a beige cover, but at least it lasted. The tape just began to dog ear and lift a few weeks ago so I decided to go with patches. As of now it doesn't look like these are going to last as well as the Gorilla Tape did. Plus the huge expense for three packages of these patches doesn't make any sense since a roll of Gorilla Tape costs about 6 bucks or so. If they were going to last it might be a worthwhile investment, but I don't think these are going to make it a few months. I think I'm going back to the tape. The tape was still very hard to pull off when I decided to remove it. By the way the 17 stabs in this tarp were done by a kid related to my tenant for no apparent reason other than to have fun with his new knife, he's 12. As I see it now it appears like I just wasted my money. Time will tell I will update as necessary. UPDATE: WELL THAT WAS SEPTEMBER 3RD IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 4TH AND THEY DID NOT LAST, UNLESS YOU CALL TWO MONTHS LASTING! I DID WASTE MY MONEY! I JUST TRIED CAMCO AWNING REPAIR TAPE AND THAT ALREADY SEEMS TO BE HOLDING BETTER. IT'S WIDER AND YOU CUT IT TO THE SIZE YOU NEED. ALSO YOU GET A LOT MORE TAPE.

If you have an air mattress you need this!
The TEAR-AID Vinyl Repair Kit works wonderfully on inflatable beds! It provides a quick and easy solution for patching up any punctures or tears. The clear patch is durable and blends in seamlessly with the surface, ensuring a neat and effective repair. I’ve used it on my inflatable bed, and it held up perfectly—no leaks or issues after applying the patch. The kit is simple to use, and the adhesive is strong enough to withstand the pressure. A must-have for anyone with inflatable items! Highly recommend for fixing inflatable beds and other vinyl-coated materials.
