Bad breakout and it cleared it all up within a week.
Had a pretty bad breakout after shaving and for the first time in my adult life had to resort to finding a treatment for it. This seemingly dried out all of the breakouts and within a few days after the initial redness and dryness went away, healed and I was back to normal. Great stuff and highly suggest it to anyone for the price!

This Works & Stops Active Breakouts
Pros:- This product doesn’t have much of a smell. (slight chemical scent at first but dissipates quickly)- It does kill acne / active breakouts- Works quickly, 5-7 days to see visible improvements- Strongest concentration available without a prescriptionCons:- Very strong which means it is highly irritating and drying- Does not dry clear- Bleaches everything- Will cause skin sensitivity, a good SPF will be needed daily, as well as a moisturizer. A con only if you don’t like having a skincare routineMy skin is oily, acne prone, and slightly sensitive. Benzoyl peroxide is very harsh and drying, so if you are a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend this only because of the common beginner’s error of using more than you need, thinking it will work faster. Start with 2.5% or 5% first, and then switch to this once your skin adjusts and you have a feel for how much you actually need. This product in particular is very strong, it is harsh, but it works. When used consistently, it will clear active breakouts and prevent new ones from forming. As I mentioned above, you will need both a moisturizer and a facial sunscreen of at least SPF 30, because Benzoyl Peroxide causes photosensitivity. Sun exposure will also cause any leftover scarring to darken and stick around on your face for much longer. As a side note, if you have sensitive skin and this is too irritating, you can try out a benzoyl peroxide based face wash. Those do work - there are studies proving benzoyl peroxide to be effect with short contact on skin. A leave-on BP product is infinitely more harsh on the skin than a wash-off formula but for some breakouts, a leave-on is necessary. For active breakouts, Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel works well. Benzoyl peroxide is a powerful ingredient, 10% is the maximum recommended concentration which is what this product contains. 10% is very drying, so you will need a moisturizer with this, otherwise you will probably experience a breakout due to your skin being overdried. This product is a white cream that does NOT dry clear. I like to use it as a spot treatment (at night only, because it is streaky and white) on active pimples and as a cream over areas that I get breakouts (chin, forehead). It also bleaches everything, so keep your hair pulled back and sleep with an old towel on your pillow. I don’t think you could use this during the day, even when it dries if you try to apply make-up over it will flake (and it dries white and tends to “crackle” and flake)Overall, 5 stars because it’s benzoyl peroxide, and it does what it is supposed to do. This is packaged well, the cap seals it well so there’s no problems with oxidizing. It only works if you use consistently. I went with Neutrogena because it’s a trusted brand I have had success with in the past, and I also enjoy their lines of moisturizers.

Just OK, other brands are better
For the price ($7), its a steal. It comes with a lot of product (1g). However, when it comes to the delivery, the product is very thick and might leave a "white cast". I noticed I cant use this on top of other products or it pills up sometimes. Noticed people saying its very drying which is true, but ANY benzoyl peroxide will do that, especially at this concentration. You just have to moisturize afterwards (hence the problem with this pilling up with my other products). As for the acne fighting power, its OK. It definitely doesnt work in 2hrs at least on my skin (and my acne is not bad at all, just regular one or two pimples). I get occasional small pustules and rarely very small cystic pimple. This is mainly for pustules as cystic acne is not that easy to get rid of with this formula at least. The ONLY benzoyl peroxide I can wholeheartedly recommend is La Roche Posay's. It's only 5.5% benzoyl peroxide, but works 10x better than this; its also triple the price and has .7g which is why I was looking for a cheaper alternative. Ive tried several benzoyl peroxide products from different brands and from now on, im sticking with La Roche Posay's spot cream.

It does work. Don't put it on before going to sleep. Will discolor the pillow covers.
For some reason I started having these red bumps, acne, stuff from my teen years but in my 50's. I found this creme and decided to give it a try. I had red bumps which were especially agitated after taking a hot shower and it just felt embarrassing so I used some cover up which probably made problems worse for my already sensitive skin. The creme promises results after 2h but it took about two weeks but then I noticed that the redness was indeed fading away slowly (Yay!) and the flare-up of new bumps was getting less. Now, after about 6 weeks of use, the redness is almost completely gone so it does seem to work. I'm also using facial cleanser more often during the day and that probably helps too. I'm glad that I feel more confident now my face is no more looking red on my cheeks and temples. I never quite understood what caused this flare-up in the first place, I'm just glad this creme helped reduce it.As mentioned on the instructions, this creme will make your skin dry so apply ample amounts of moisturizer in between.Perhaps one thing I should mention is to not make my mistake to apply creme before sleeping because it will discolor the pillow cases and towel that you use. Small issue though, my face is looking a ton better and I'm happy for it. For that I give this creme 5 stars. I did not really expect to see a change in 2h to start with so that is no big deal to me. Good things in life take time!

IT WORKS!!!!!
I'm thrilled! Finally, a product that actually works. I've had two stubborn blemishes on my face for many months, and I've tried everything to minimize them or get rid of them to no avail. After two days of using this Spot Gel, they are vanishing. No joke...this product is amazing!
