Works great. I would purchase again.
I'm running Klipsch LaScala speakers along with Heresy speakers. If you know these speakers you realize the volume from the LaScalas will be substantially greater. So I used this volume control to help equalize the sound. Much less expensive than getting another amp! I was concerned about distortion and any sound degradation, but to my surprise there was none.

Solid construction, easy to install
Well made. Good quality. Instructions could be better WRT Impedance matching switch.

Nice High Power Rating
I purchased these because they were the only volume controls I could find that were rated higher than the 140 watts rms my vintage receiver outputs. They installed easily and look great. I'd recommend them.

Well built
Works well. Inputs/outputs little bigger than other models I have used making it a bit easier to wire. Also came with 2 other different knob and cover plate color options which is nice

Works great and quick install. good instructions.
Easy installation. The wire terminals are removable and are the exact same as my previous volume controls. which made the swap quick by simply unplugging the input and output terminals and plugging them into the new speaker volume control. They also have an adjustable impedance selection, make sure you set this up correctly for your driver amp before install the switch plate. The switch comes with a really good install instruction sheet as well.

Professional Quality
Excellent quality at a good price. Used two for a large outdoor sound system

Great Sound, Quality Suspect
I replaced an old impedance matching volume control (transformer-based) with this resistor based unit as I did not need impedance matching for my installation. In terms of overall sound quality, I would give the unit 5 stars. The sound difference between the old transformer-based control and this resistor-based control is night and day. My outdoor high quality speakers went from sounding like a clock radio to the sound I expected. That said, in terms of build quality and quality control, I would give 1 star (hence my average of 3 stars). The unit was easy enough to connect since I was replacing another volume control. I carefully moved the connections, but only one channel worked. By gently tapping the unit, the second channel came alive. I thought perhaps I had not made a good connection when re-wiring, so I checked and re-connected. Same problem. I did it a third time. Same problem. Upon close inspection, I found that one of the resistors had a cold/incomplete solder joint at the circuit board, causing an intermittent connection and hence the intermittent dropping out. I am no stranger to the soldering iron so, rather than returning the unit, I soldered and fixed the poorly soldered connection. The second channel came alive and the unit now operates as it should. I am surprised that a unit sold as an "audiophile quality" piece would have been shipped with this problem. A quality control check would have surely identified the problem. All in all I like the unit and would buy again, but I do think the quality of the build is suspect. I hope it holds up over time because it sounds great.
