It seems to have good quality and performance for the price. After attaching the hood, the camera looks much better. And the company logo engraved on the hood doesn't look cheap either, which is nice. And finally, there is a clicking sensation at the end, so it does not fall off easily after the hood is installed.

Impressive by the low price. Looks and feels really nice, it’s high quality precision machined light weight and durable metal. It softly screws in to my camera lens and locks into place, fits perfectly.This replica is a great alternative compares to Sony’s OEM exact lens hood that is still selling for $178 (at the time of this writing) - which is made in Japan and has “Sony” branding that does just that ... covering sun light. Absolutely love how it looks on my Sony DSC-RX1 camera as shown in photos, it also protects my lens from pumping into walls, and prevents my hands from accidentally touching the lens and leave smudge.

Definitely the better choice over Sony’s overpriced hood. This product is solid, low-profile and looks absolutely beautiful up close. I never have to take it off - it’s slim and doesn’t add much bulk, so it stays on even when the camera’s inside its case.

Absolutely recommend this hood (and pretty much all Haoge products, they are highest quality). Easy to put on and remove with a snug fit and light "snap" when it's attached.

This is a quality product with careful engineering tolerances employed and excellent finish. It is essentially the same lens hood as the Sony OEM version for the RXR1 ii, but for a quarter of the price. Recommended!

Doesn’t attach to my RXR1 ii. It fits into place, but never clicks / tightens. Must be incorrectly machined.
