Built very well. No complaints.
Seems like it's built well. My favorite part is how well the plastic cover snaps into the base. I feel secure that the cover will not fall off and expose conductive surfaces.

I like it. Metal feels okay but don't know whats good for my amperage. It Connects well and doesn't get hot but I'm only pushing a little over 300amps but probably more towards 200ish constant for more than 10 minutes. Don't know if that helps but it works for me. 4 stars because I feel the plastic could of went a little further to protect the metal from accidental short but overall I'm not that picky this distribution block is great.

The screws to tighten down the cables have a beveled end with slight serrations on the edges which could be a good or bad thing
The ports on this distribution block are true to size which is a relief because that gets lost in translation often. The block is actually covered with a clear plastic top that snaps in place with 4 tabs. The tabs aren't the easiest to work with and I actually had to use a thin screwdriver to pop it off while being careful not to break them. The clear plastic base is screwed to the distribution block and has 4 holes to screw it down. The screws to tighten down the cables have a beveled end with slight serrations on the edges which could be a good or bad thing. Those serrations are going to chew into your cable and actually give you a better connection especially if you have something like a 10,000 strand monster cable. The downside is that once you disconnect that cable, some of the strands will fall off and you'll need to chop a half inch off the cable to get 100% of the conductors back. If you're using a 110 strand 2 gauge starter cable like me, each strand is thicker and unlikely to be broken by those serrations. Starter cable is still acceptable to use for car audio because although it's not as flexible, it has enough flex to resist road vibrations when used in short spans. Overall this piece was a good fit, did it's job and looks nice.
