Nice replacement for Opal 2.0 nugget ice maker fan
After several years, the cooling fan on my Opal 2.0 ice maker wasn't working well, leading to the machine getting very hot and not making ice. (The fan would either get stuck trying to spin up, or didn't spin as fast as it should.) I replaced it with this fan, and my ice machine is working much better. The fan itself fit was the same size as the OEM fan, so it fit in fine in the case. The power plug on this fan is a bit different than the plug on the original (the clips are different), and I had to shave a bit off the new plug to get it to fit in the power socket. It isn't possible to clip in this way, but friction should hold it in, and there shouldn't be anything pulling on the cord, anyway. I'm ecstatic that I fixed my Opal for about $13.

Great fit
Fit perfectly to replace the unit in my wine fridge, didn't fix the issue though.

Maybe Too Loud for Wine Cooler
Bought this to replace an 80mm fan that stopped working in my wine cooler. Was looking for something that was a little more robust. The connector on this fan didn’t not match the old one so I had to cut it off the old one and splice it onto this one. It works but wish there was an easier way. Compared to the old fan, this one is noisy! This is rated at 43dB vs 25dB for the other. Although I’m happy with its performance and robustness I might have to suck it up and get a quieter fan. We’ll see how it goes.

Noisy
Claimed to run at 43 decibels, actual is 72 decibels. Couldn’t use, too loud.Edit: The seller reached out to me, and offered a full refund. The fan wasn’t suitable for me, but I would certainly buy from this seller again

Fan for heater
Bought this to replace a fan in my heater because I could not find the exact replacement nor did the manufacturer have any in stock. This works great, quiet, and air flow might be a little more. If you have one of these heaters and need a new fan, this works!

Defective: Fan rotates just a few rpm
This fan had gunk on the blades and doesnt list "ball bearing" anywhere on it. It took me a day of troubleshooting my system to figure out that it was defective and barely turned. I plugged in a replacement which worked right away. Don't buy this, it wont work

Worked in Opal 2.0 ice maker
This was my last ditch effort to fix our GE Opal 2.0 icemaker for the 5th time it seems. The old original fan still worked, but very hot air was coming out the back IMO. The ice maker would run for hours barely making ice, and frequently defrosting itself. Dust on the heat exchange radiator was not the problem. To see if it was overheating, I placed a small fan against the side of the unit, and I noticed it would make ice normally. I could not measure the RPM/airflow on the old fan, so I tried this new fan just for the heck of it. The airflow it creates is considerably stronger than the original 12v/.25a fan. The new fan is a tiny bit louder, but not very noticable over the compressor noise anyway. Our ice maker is back to cranking out ice, and seems almost better than when it was new.The only small caveat was the small 2 pin connector plug seemed to have a slightly different clip style on the new fan. I was able to plug it in, but not really click it securely in place.
