Thanks to this valve I was able to service my refrigerator and get it running. Time will tell how much additional life I get from the refrigerator, but this valve does its job well.

I likes that it was quick and easy to setup and install....the only problem is that this is a temporary fix...its notbmade for long term use...you eventually need to either weld a valve on or just crimp the line....but it is convenient for a quick fix...I do like it and will probably buy a few more for that just incase moment

This is the best I've found, BUT as my problems have been with Chinese beverage centers with precious little freon and no way to recharge, I need a tap that fits Chinese tubing. The spacers provided don't fit but are close enough to lead you astray.After the first one died from a leaking tap, the replacement beverage center exhibited the same freon issues after a year or two and I looked for other line tap solutions. After buying several and trying them, I returned to this one as having superior features. I improvised the spacer, winding mylar tape around the bottom of the clamp until the right clamping diameter could be achieved. Still working, but what a pain.Update: two years later the mylar tape solution is still working and my beverage center is fine. I still recharge every 6-12 months, but life is good!
