A small light plastic construction . Performs perfectly and pretty easy to install .Note ..the controllers come with batteries included. If you find the range short, change to a new battery it may well improve it. This worked for me.

Really works. Use it to control a 12v linear actuator and it's faultless. Buttons on remote seem a little light on the rubber coating so not sure how long they will last with rough treatment, but you get four and they all come with batteries installed, so I'll get 4 times the life I would have had out of one I guess.Instructions weren't too clear, but if you look up the model on youtube there are a few simple tutorials that set you straight.

Considering the price at this at the time of this review, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does really work as years ago something of this standing would be megabucks pricewise, so the almighty microchip excels again it seems. It was simple enough to wire in (eventually) as the instructions were not that clever but with looking online and using common sense I have got it to control an outdoor 12 volt car windscreen wiper motor controlled gate closer. The buttons on the remote work okay but seem a bit ‘fragile’ to be honest but has it will have only occasional use, hopefully it will last!

However be aware you need to set the mode for each key fob individually. I did one thinking all 4 will then behave the same but the other 3 did not work. So you have to go through the process of setting each one. The mode is set in the fob and not the unit. Not a big deal, just a faff.

I was unable to set it up to work in latched mode - the operation was intermittent, momentary/latched, and seemed to depend on how long the remote buttons were held down. 2Ch/2Ch seemed to work, but that isn’t what I need.

Great little bit of kit, I’ve now got it opening…and closing the loading bay door, teaching the remotes to work with the board took longer than making and wiring it in , but that’s my fault, I’m completely happy with this little toy. Delivery was quicker, sooner than stated when I purchased it
