VXDAS OBD2 Scanner Car Diagnostic Scan Tool Check Engine Light Universal OBDII Code Reader, Smog Check of All CAN Fault Car After 1996

Diagnosed the error once my check engine fault light showed up. It cleared the code too. Super easy, it took a couple of minutes. Fantastic value for money!

I had the traction control lights on my c250 come on. It could have been 2 minutes, 5 minutes or 30 minutes into a journey. The orange engine light would also come on, but not every time. Had a friend check the fault codes with a very expensive device. He found no codes for the abs sensors but a number of communication codes. Not really helping fathom the problem. Bought this device, plugged it in and it immediately gave me the fault code description and number. Took a photo for further reference and reset the fault. Started the car again and the fault came back. Read into the code description and found it was the throttle control sensor. Found a simple way to reset it manually, and low and behold, all other related issues resolved as the throttle control sends messages to other safety features on the car which generated the other warning lights. Saved a lot of cash. Great little device.

Quick at booting up and gave me the same error codes everyone else had. The Screen is a bit small, but ni problrms with brigthness. It does feel a little on the cheap side but nevertheless it does the job and is handy to keep in the car. Easy to use and for the price I would recommend to anyone with a car for those emergency situations.

I bought this because my car had few signs of errors, carriage charges me £20 single trip so now I can do myself nothing to pay them very easy to get fixed errors

Easy to use to read codes but just keeps serving an error when trying to clear codes, requires the engine off if it’s on, then on if it’s off.

Would not work on my vw fox. But have used it on other cars.

It arrived , I plugged it in as you are supposed too and it turned not the best fit but ok and then died less that 5 seconds later , cheap crap I know you get what you pay for but at least do what you say

Purchased to read a code that had come up on my MX5 - did the job, put my mind at rest that I knew what to ask for at the garage. Easy to use, great user friendly interface. Has just saved me 60.00 by not having the mechanic plug his machine in and press a button!Doesn't read codes outside of ECU though so not seatbelt or airbag or abs errors.
