Great Heat Brush
Best purchase I’ve ever made. Heats up well and glides smooth on my hair

If you have bangs or layers, you need this brush
Edit: mine died on me aftwr 2.5 yrs.I got bangs a week ago and nothing got them to sit right around my face. I walked around looking like Edna Mode. Saw this Hot Tools heated brush on Julissa Guillen’s YouTube channel and bought it on a whim, not expecting it to do anything for my hair. After all, nothing else had worked. This brush gave me gorgeous, shiny voluminous hair in under 5 minutes. My layers came to life, and my bangs were acting exactly as I’d wanted them to. If you have bangs, this brush is a necessity. A round heated brush will not work as well, at least not in my opinion, unless you prefer the Edna Mode look. I know because I have tried and failed with a round brush vs this oval one.If you have long/longer hair, it will give you beautiful, defined waves.I have thick, coarse, south Asian hair and I love that this brush goes up to 430F as opposed to my GHD Rise, which is like 375F max. For my hair, 390F is a good temperature to keep the brush at.Mine did not come with a glove though, which is annoying.

Don’t buy it
I wanted to love it but ended up hating it. You will not get a blow out look from this. The shape of the brush does not allow it. Hard pass. Wish I bought something else.

Great Multi-Purpose tool with some caveats
I bought this and another heated round brush from Hot Tools and I like them both. This one has a few more bells and whistles than the other - the temperature setting features are really nice. I like the different length bristles. This does a good job though it does take a bit of practice to get the look I want. It would work well as a straightening brush, volumizing brush or even a finishing brush to give a little bit of hot-roller style curls. I have mid-back length thick, highlighted and graying hair. It is wavy when naturally dried and tends to frizz. When I blow dry with the round brush, I have to use a lot of tension and heat to get it to behave. This brush allows me to blow dry roughly. Once my hair is dry, I take 1-2" sections and twirl and twist through my lengths like I would normally do with my vented round brush and the blow dryer. I get a smooth, bouncy finished style. I especially love this tool on my bangs though - it lets me style them to have some curtain fringe without being too pouffy or "curled". And It is excellent for those quick messy bun styles when my bangs need some attention!

Great
I debated on this purchase, but since Im “addicted “ to hair tools I figured, what’s one more. Anyhow I’m so very glad I did. I have shoulder length fine somewhat wavy hair and this smooths out the little ways and frizz perfectly. There is a small learning technique, like any new tool, but it’s great

This is great
Let me tell you something Hot tools doesn’t have the reconnection that they have to have in the her community. We have a lot of brands that are small brand that didn’t give us. The quality of the hotel produce product has in this product is great for making waves for putting your hair so beautiful in your house and not use him like a flat iron or a blower

Goodbye frizz!
Just used this tool for the first time. I’ll have to make a mental note to upload before and after photos. Hot Tools is my favorite brand of hair tools, and this is probably the best of all tools I’ve used from them. I have extremely long, extremely thick hair. My gray is also coming in, so the texture is getting a bit more coarse, and I struggle with fizziness. I set the temp to 370 and sectioned as normal. The biggest plus to this tool is I can brush a much larger chunk of hair than if I were smoothing with a large barrel iron or straightener, so the process was faster. It only took me 25 minutes to fully “hot brush” my entire head, versus an iron taking me 40+ (I have a LOT of hair!!). I imagine it will go faster next time. The entire hair shaft is shiny and smooth with a gentle curl at the bottom, beautiful. Five stars - I’ll add before/after photos soon. For the money, this is a must-have if you’ve got very long, thick hair!!!
