Mentos gum is by far the best gum I’ve ever had! It stays fresh in the containers, doesn’t lose its flavor or become mushy after chewing for a period of time like other brands, and taste great no matter what the flavor. I also have used these containers in my classroom for crayon holders forStudents.

Tasty, but had to stop chewing surgarfree gum

I suffer from Sjogren's Syndrome and other autoimmune disorders, which leave my mouth (and eyes) extremely dry, especially overnight. I also breathe with my mouth open due to year long allergies and constant congestion. Add on top of that being post menopausal and weakening bones! All these things lead to RAPID tooth decay, and I've lost 8 teeth in the last 5 years, despite good oral hygeine and regular dentist visits.I've tried SO many products for my dry mouth, including xylitol gums, adhering melting discs, gels, sprays, lozenges, etc. Nothing worked or lasted long enough to get me through the night, or they were too expensive. I had subscribed to this gum - Mentos Cotton Candy - for almost 2 years, and got 4 boxes a month (and went through them all). I was trying to save some money in the last 6 months, so I canceled my subscription and switched to cheap Extra gum. I find all other gums to either be too hard, too soft/sticky or they lose their flavor after just a few minutes, but I never had those issues with this gum. Today I decided I miss it enough, and am sick of cheap, tough, flavorless gum, and came back looking to resubscribe, and it's unavailable. :(I've tried other Mentos gum flavors, but I hate the gummy or liquid or gel centers that seem to be in all of them. That center makes the gum too soft, and then it sticks to my teeth, especially the rougher spots and when my mouth is extremely dry! No thanks! What I likes about the Cotton Candy is that it had the crystalized stuff in the middle, almost like sugar, but not since it's sugar free gum.Today I saw a few new flavors of Mentos gum, and they all have that icky liquid center. *cry* Now what am I to do? Has it been discontinued? I guess I'll email Mentos and ask, but my guess is it's gone. They disappeared from my Walgreens shelves 6 months before I unsubscribed here, and nowhere else near me carried it. As with most of my favorite things in my 40+ years of life, they eventually get discontinued. It's unfortunate, because the reviews say it all about the Cotton Candy flavor!!!

I like the flavor. The first bite is weird though. I cannot tell if it's the Xylitol or if I bought an older batch (was within use by date). I ordered more, so will see on that account.The biggest issue is that the flavor doesn't last long at all. The gum itself is more substantial than the other brand I use (Orbit bubblegum flavor). To get a sense of this gum, I'll compare the two: Mentos Cotton Candy is thicker (more substantial) and a bit harder to chew. Orbit Bubblegum flavor lasts A LOT LONGER, but the consistency of the gum is thinner or less substantial. The Orbit keeps breath a little fresher. The Mentos container is a little taller but easier to access the pieces. Overall, I rate the Mentos Cotton Candy 4/5 mainly because of the flavor (while it lasts) and the ease of dispensing. It uses Xylitol, which is probably a plus as well (time and dietitians will tell).

My favorite sugar free gum!!! Tastes like bubble gum and reminds me of childhood!!!
