Work like it should

Doesn't work as expected with my brand new iPad Pro. You can plug in your ear bud jack or you can plug in your power cord. But, unfortunately if you have both plugged in at the same time which I assumed this dongle helped to do then your iPad will ding at you every thirty seconds or so until you remove the power cord. Every night I have to unplug the power cord and plug in my earbuds to use my ipad for reading, then in the morning I have to remove the earbud jack and plug in the power jack so it will charge during the day as it's down to like 20-30% of battery left after being unplugged all night. Don't buy this if you expect to use both inputs at the same time.

I needed these because the phone I have doesn't have a regular earbud jack, so it needs this adapter. I don't or can't always use my bluetooth ones so having these is necessary if I want to use regular earphones. Great that it comes in a package of two because I can always have a replacement when I misplace one.

I bought this item for my dad considering nowadays phones dont have an aux port. I told my dad about the existence of the hilariously named "double dongle" and said I would get him one. He was struggling to play music in his car. He would normally plug a USB flashdrive into the port for his stereo system but wasnt satisfied using that music. He wanted to play it from his phone but his system isnt bluetooth compatible. Note: it's an installed system on his 2007 Dodge Magnum. I helped him understand the concept of the double dongle and set it up in his car. Now he can play audio from his phone in the car and still have the ability to charge his phone instead of choosing between either one. The only issue I noticed, but am not entirely sure who is to blame, is that the cable we connected to test out the charging didnt connect all the way into the port on the dongle. Also, not sure if it was the cable or the dongle, but it was "slow charging". I'm going to test out a fast charge capable cable next time and update the review when I do. Other then that it's a solid buy in my opinion. Only gave it 4 stars all around just to be reasonable considering its not perfect nor can it be "perfect".

This 2-way converter works great and is easy to carry along with phone.

This is what I needed but one thing that doesn’t work is using the phone. The person on the other end can’t hear you. So really this is only to be used if you need to charge and listen to music at the same time. Kind of sucks.
