Great tool to have in your vehicle in case of a emergency

I really like this item. Heavy duty and comes with it's own mountable holder. Can be used by swinging left or right, as it's two sided. Even has seatbelt cutter.

They feel pretty sturdy. I haven’t gotten to they them out yet of course, but I feel in an emergency it would be helpful. The handle is plastic to make it lighter, but it’s a harder plastic. The one thing that confused me was the little holder/mount the tool came in. I can see no way to mount or stick it anywhere that it will actually stay in my vehicle so I put it in my center console. Not sure if the holder was actually meant to mount anywhere or not. If I manage to get myself a window or seatbelt to test out, I will update my review.I gave one of my set of two to a family member. She then later asked me to buy her two four packs for eight in total. Her plan was to give them as gifts. However, only four showed up and not the eight in total… I can find no way to contact them and alert them to the mistake. It seems to be a good product, but trying to figure out how to contact them for small mistakes as this is most certainly another obstacle!

Thankfully have not needed to use (and have not tested) but they seem light. Hopefully if needed they will work.

So I haven’t had to use this fortunately but I have a funny story to tell. So I just bought these and was explaining their use to my 3 year old daughter. Later that day she grabbed one and took it with her to her car seat without me noticing. So I start the car and I look back at her to make sure she’s buckled in and in that short time she had cut her seat belt. At first I was so freaked out and thinking she may have cut herself. But she was fine. I definitely don’t recommend you let a child play with them though. I was very happy to see that even a 3 year old can use these extremely easily. I have to get her a new car seat now but at least I have some peace of mind that she could use it in an emergency.

I live in Florida, they have bad habits of not having guardrails where canals are located. The County's does this, to save money . Our canals can be very deep. God forbid that anyone would ever have to endure Landing in a body of water and not being able to get out. I purchased a set of four of these. Everyone must take heed to this. You never know what could happen, I highly suggest you buy these for yourself, and your loved ones, and Friends. They also make great Christmas gifts. You literally can save a life by giving them this. I gave the remaining three to my wife, and two children. It absolutely gives me comfort knowing that these are in their vehicles. Its a very tiny investment, that can save your life. Let's hope, that none of you ever need to use them. But it will give you a sense of security. And you never know when maybe someone else may need help,and you have the device to break their window to get them out.

After watching commercials about the importance of keeping one of these in your car, I purchased a few packages and shared one with all my family members. You never know when you need to use one. Stay safe and keep one in your car now. Would hate to be stuck in my car if I’m in an accident.

I purchased 3 sets of these for Valentine's Day. I didn't want to give candy; I wanted to give something that showed that I cared about my family. I have 2 daughters, a grand daughter, and husband besides myself that drive. I bought one for each vehicle owned. I now feel that we are all safer having these in our vehicles in case of an emergency. I kept seeing on the news where if someone had one of these in their vehicle they would have had a better chance of saving themselves by getting out of their vehicles in time. I won't know how well they work until someone actually has to use it, but it does feel sturdy and the cutting blade certainly looks sharp enough to cut the seatbelt. I believe when the adrenaline gets flowing and you hit your window with the hammer part, it's going to break the window. I seen many good comments on these and the company and decided to purchase from them. They arrived in new condition and quickly.
