Overall works great... but the PZEM is configured for 100amp shunt by default.
Great unit, but the PZEM device is configured by default for the 100amp shunt. This means that without the software (that does not comes with the unit) and the USB adapater (does not comes with this model, you must already have one) you can not change the configured shunt size and will get number double the actual value.If you already have the software and usb adapter, then this version of the PZEM is great to add more of them to your arsenal.

Fills a DIY niche
Once I figured out that aux power from the USB was not optional, it works. Device is larger than expected. I haven't put it through all its paces, but so far so good.

Fascinating tool
This is a fascinating tool. I ordered it to resolve a periodic automotive battery drain problem and solved the problem before the tool arrived. But I'm going to write an app to drive it so I can use it when similar problems pop up. Glad I ordered it.
