Great adapter
Good option if you already have a DVI cable run and you need to switch to a Display Port on one end

Good to go
Works as intended for 1920x1080p. Used this to hook up another monitor to display port at work, which didn't have a DVI connection.

Good budget passive DP to DVI adapter
I only used it briefly to test something but it worked fine while I did and delivered 1080p75 as expected to my monitor. Seems to be a good budget DP to DVI adapter!

Check Your Monitor Resolution First
I missed the RESOLUTION LIMITATION: "supports resolutions up to 1920x1080@60Hz"I have an Apple Cinema Display: 2560x1600 So, the screen image was displayed at low resolution.I should have chosen a different option on the same page: Dual Link, which supports 2560x1440

Perfect solution for old 1440p Dell monitor via DVI-D
Does exactly what it needs to do, and worked immediately after plugging in. Feels sturdy enough, and it feels great using this monitor at its intended 1440p resolution over the 1080p max the HDMI supported. The setup is as follows: Dell U2713HM 27" 1440p (2560x1440). I use the single built-in DisplayPort to connect my laptop, and I wanted a 2nd cable running to my desktop and not have to unplug and re-plug every time I switched devices. To solve the problem, I run a DVI-D cable from the monitor to this adapter (BENFEI DisplayPort to DVI DVI-D Dual Link Adapter). The DisplayPort part of the adapter plugs into my video card (Radeon 7900XTX), and the USB part of the adapter plugs into an open USB 3.0 port on the motherboard. Some things to note:1. Make sure the cable you are using is a Dual-Link (DVI-D) cable, not a single link. Single link will not provide you 1440p resolution even with this adapter.2. Make sure you're getting the DVI-D adapter. The product page allows you to choose either a single or dual link. The one with the USB is the only one that'll work.

It's working
Not much to say, it's been working for about 5 months at this point. Only weird thing is (and I don't know if it's because of it or just because it's an adapter in general), when turning the monitor on, it seems to be redetecting it in Windows, and it makes the sound like something was unplugged and plugged back in, and my other screen turns black for a couple seconds and comes back on. It's not really an issue though, but I don't remember the one I had previously doing that (but this one has a better shape with the short cord, so it's flexible and less likely to bend or break from tight spaces or gravity, like my previous adapter that was just one solid piece did.)

It works but still needs further evaluation.

Extend the Life of Your Old DVI-D Monitor
An older computer finally gave up the ghost. The two monitors I had attached are DVI-D but the new computer did not support DVI, but it did have DisplayPort inputs. This two-pack let me keep the two monitors saving a fair amount of money.
