Kester 951 Liquid Soldering Flux, No-Clean, 2-ounce Bottle

I purchased this product at a glance and I have not regretted it. It goes on easy and cleans all soldering surfaces without making a mess. I normally go for paste, but this converted me to liquid. I don't work on electronics professionally, I'm just a humble hobbiest. As a hobbiest, I can tell you every brand of flux that works the best, that is easy to clean up etc. Kester 951 blows everything out of the water! I barely have to clean up after soldering a wire, sometimes I don't even have to. It's incredibly flammable, and that's the only con. The smell isn't so bad either, it smells pleasant when burned with an iron.I will buy this again when the time arises.The seller had it delivered a week earlier than expected, which was really awesome!

Like 150 proof vodka.. cleans very well. slight odor so use ventilation. cleans well, easy applicator and it should last me a long time this liquid flux. Thanks!

It appears to be the quality no-clean flux it purports to be. Happy with my purchase.

This Flux does work well. Maybe not as good as your standard flux that needs to be cleaned up. But that's what you get for the convenience this provides. My only complaint is how quickly it evaporates even without heat applied. I've found that I've had to reapply this more often as I'm working, compared to my standard flux. Also, I'm using up a lot more of it just on small projects.So just be warned, it works well and no cleanup is needed, but it evaporates quickly. Causing you to use more of it.

I needed this for rebuild of my Roland VS-2400CD and VS-2480. It shipped quickly and was received quickly too.

Kester 951 leaves much less residue than the more oily 186 and works nearly as good.The needle on this dispenser is a bit large, so it comes out very quickly - even a drop is quite large and spreads over a several mm area on the PCB. But the advantage of a larger needle is that it doesn't become plugged when sitting for weeks.And the residue dissolves when applying alcohol afterward, if you don't want that crusty look on your boards.
