Great value
This stool is perfect for a guitar player. It has looks as well as function. I am 5’11” tall and the height is perfect. I can sit comfortably and still tap my foot on the floor or rest my feet on the bottom rail. The seat cushion is a little firm and that may one negative feature but the back support is comfortable and thick. I have a bad back and it feels good even after a long session. The backrest has two adjustment settings for height and can be moved forward or back as well. If necessary, drilling a hole in the support would be a simple task to make a third height adjustment as the holding screw could be easily moved to the new hole. The legs have rubber feet to grip the floor so it doesn’t slip. The retractable guitar rest is also a plus for taking a break between sessions and holds the guitar well so it doesn’t fall over and has a padded felt rest to support the neck. For the price, I think this stool is a great value.

Really nice setup
Chair is solid, sits up high, guitar holder is good, fairly lightweight, seat cushion is solid and generally comfortable, looks good on stage or at home in the practice room, seat is adjustable. The guitar holder folds up out of the way of your feet. Wish it had a bit bigger foot rest. Be careful with some guitars as it can be a bit snug fit. You have to assemble but easy. Good quality but would not say great quality.

It’s good
Great chair. But can’t rest guitar and sit. When you sit guitar head is in a bad spot.

One of the best guitar accessories I have ever bought
I worked at a music store for a number of years and saw many Gator products. I was always impressed with their high quality and this is no different. I have severe adult degenerative scoliosis and as one of the consequences have chronically tight hamstrings which makes it painful to sit on several surfaces. I play guitar for my Church and was using a wooden stool with little cushion. It was getting too painful to use it and I needed to find something else to use. I did a lot of research and thankfully found this one. It has a very well cushioned seat and is very stable and well built. I seldom use the attached guitar stand as I sit through the whole service. However I felt comfortable leaving my guitar in it the few times that I did. The only ding I would give it is that the rubber tubing that is used for protecting the guitar when it does sit in the stand wasn't cut too accurately and so the tubing came off easily. A little bit of superglue took care of that problem. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Edited 10-06-23 The stool folds very easily and is compact and easy to carry. It securely holds a Taylor 12-fret 12 string as well as myself and it is stable. I'm about 5 ft 7 inches.

Heavy-duty (and just heavy, too)
As a solo performer, it’s always a crapshoot what kind of seating will be available at bars and other venues. Yes, I’ve been taking our own kitchen stools occasionally, and a few venues have great barstools that I can and do use. But I wanted to get something that was sturdy, well-built, comfortable and would last a long, long time. This is it.After 5-6 months of use at home and on gigs, it’s a comfortable and easy-to-adjust seat, with also-adjustable footrests. Built like a tank, too.But carrying it is not for the faint of heart. I can handle it, but it can be a little clumsy; I do wish the seat could be broken down, or dissembled a bit, to make carrying/loading easier. It sucks up a bit of space in the back of my Explorer, and I’ve learned to live with that, in exchange for the sturdiness and comfort.I like this seat a lot. I’d like it more if it were a bit less bulky and inflexible.

Lasted 4 years
This is a very nice stool, however it only lasted 4 years of moderate use (weekly gigging) I suppose not bad, but then it would have been better to have lasted longer.

Practical
It's very handy carrying your seat and guitar stand in one piece. It is heavy. The cushioned top is stiff and uncomfortable for long gigs. The stand holds my U-bass perfectly. So, it's like everything, there are pluses and minuses.
