Very nice very high-quality easy to set up and install with the right YouTube tutorials and overall is one of the only things that will work properly with no code it is truly plug and play and depending on the game you’re playing you may need an extra program VM mapper but other than that it is amazing I still a lot of my own American truck simulator boxes at different types of gang boxes using these I plan on buying more soon

I had a 20 year old arcade box with microswitches that needed a controller. This came fast, was easy to wire up withe the included wires and retropi recognized it and all the switches. Works great!

I had no issues and in fact hooked everything up in record time for this prototyping project. The USB Encoder was the perfect remedy for the issue I was encountering. The board itself was nice and easy to solder on.

Solid choice for single-player MAME or RetroPie builds, but not recommended for multi-player MiSTer setups. The QR05 shares the common USB ID 0079:0006, so using two results in input conflicts and requires remapping on every reboot. Great for solo use—just not MiSTer-friendly for two players.

Bought this to make a DIY Shifter for Racing Simulators, and works perfectly for my need.Still have left over slots if I want to add other features in the future

Incredibly easy to use. Just hook up any switches to it. Windows recognizes immediately. Didn't need to download anything. Shows up as generic joystick.

I'm missing something, but which connection on the board goes to which connection on the joystick or button? There are no paper instructions included, the MFG website shows nothing, and the board is not labeled. I guess I will have to try the old method of trial and error, one white at a time. I know what I'm going to be doing for the next five hours or more.August 4 Update: Unbelievable. I got the joystick and left and right buttons hooked up to the board; I connected the board and my joystick button to my USB port on my computer, and everything (joystick and buttons) is set for player 2; there is no control for player one. The software will not allow it to be re-configured. How do you make this work? I really must be missing something.

I can now hift through all 18 gears, works exactly as expected and completely plug and play on windows 10
