That's not my robot... Board book – 30 Sept. 2005

What a fantastic book! I'd seen some of these aimed at girls which belong to a friend and were delighted to find some more 'boy-type' ones. My son is just 14 weeks old but he loves looking at the bright colourful pictures. Although he hasn't got the hand control to feel the feely bits yet, I put his fingers on them and his eyes just light up, what a brilliant way of introducing children to different textures. The pictures are also useful for pointing out other things, the blue body, square eyes or little mouse (which appears on every page). The books are really robust with thick board pages which he'll be able to turn himself as he gets a little older. This one features robots with: shiney eyes, crinkly hands, bumpy buttons, prickly ears, squashy feet and finally, sparkly antennae. I can't recommend these books highly enough.

My 1 year old son loved this book. It is not always correctly described but kids love the touchy feely parts.

I have a few of these books (well 10) and this is one of the best ones. Lovely different bright robot on each page, interesting and large "touchy feely" areas on each page and holds attention well of my 11 month old. Very fun book and this is definately one of the better "Thats not My" books.

We love the 'thats not my' books and this is as good as the others. Really good for holding a 2 year olds attention. There are mirror 'shiny' bits which are lovely. Only negative I have found on others as well as this one are that some feely bits don't last too well with tiny finger nails (shown in first picture with crinkly hands).

Love the "It's Not My..." series of books. Most that we had received were all about animals and had a lot of the same textures, but it was lovely to see this one as it gives a new dimension to the textures for little one to feel. Cracking way of getting kids into books when they're really young.

These books are fantastic. I especially love the variety of titles - I've bought about 20 titles so far and we read one a day. Although my son is only 10 weeks old he seems to enjoy the books, paying attention to the colourful pages and touching the pages (he's only recently discovered he can grab things). I'm sure we've got plenty more enjoyment with these books as my son realises the different textures on each page and plays 'find the white mouse' as he grows older.

The 'thats not my <noun> its too <adjective>' series of books never seems to disappoint any child I have read them to. I would like to have a more modern set of objects and nouns perhaps, 'that's not my smart phone, it's too cheap' or 'that's not my smart home device, it's too obedient'. That might address some of the concerns and pressures facing millennials today.

My son loves these books- just as my older two did, so when I was looking at the ones he didn't have, this one stood out because of the cover picture and because he's just started liking robots etc, it was a good choice because he loves it as much as the others he has- if not more! Would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. My daughter loves the Usbourne ‘That’s Not My’ books. This is such a cute addition to the collection. I really like the variety of textures that this book has for babies and children to feel (shiny,crinkly,bumpy, prickly,squashy and sparkly). I also always love the little mouse for Children to find on each page, it prolongs the life of these sweet books for children

Great book to get your child into reading. My kids love to feel the pages!

Cute, simple, and tactile. My 1 year old loves these books.

We love this one! Baby is excited about this book with colorful and glittering images and textures. New adjectives are also much appreciated. Great addition to our "This is not my..." collection. I would not buy all of them as they get repetitive, but this one is a must have.
