You have to use it religiously
We had more than 60 pigeons hanging out, breeding everywhere, and eating everything in sight. We enclosed the chicken feed, took down all the bird feeders, so they went for the food I feed my old horses. They can't eat hay as their teeth are nubs, and the pigeons were aggressive about it. We put up barriers so they would stop nesting under the roof tiles and solar panels.Tried using this about a year ago. Saw a couple new babies, but nothing like before. Tapered down to 20 ish by winter. They have called some friends, but the resident population is about 10-12 birds now. None are breeding in our yard, and the regulars don't seem to be introducing squabs.I don't expect them all to go, but we've had a 70 percent reduction in a year. I feed them by hand every morning at 9 am and they are there waiting and gobble every bit. They still want horse chow but there's only a few so it's not a big problem anymore. If it weren't for that, they wouldn't be here at all. It's only down one star for the price. Not a problem if you're a business or municipality, but a big bit of budget for homeowners.

saw no difference
did not see a difference in pigeons decreasing. they still come into the same place to make nests with this stuff spread all around the nesting areas

Not Quick, But Effective and Humane
We have a bit of a pigeon problem in our community and of all the mitigation strategies I evaluated, I felt this was the most humane. It is in the second summer of use and I am pleased with the results so far. They are not completely eliminated, but that was never the intent. There is a noticeable decrease in quantity and definitely a reduction in complaints from the residents about the pigeons.I have the large feeder mounted on a flat roof with my own wired in WiFi camera (the battery powered camera needed fresh batteries routinely). A large group of pigeons arrive daily to feed and every day the daily feed is completely consumed.I do wish the price of the feed was lower, but one bag lasted about 2 months, so the cost is around $5/day, with minimal maintenance required.Overall I’m satisfied with the product and it’s performance.

The pigeons won't eat it.
And the company doesn't take returns. A waste of nearly $300.

Kind way to reduce pigeon population
We feed feral cats (whom are all neutered but that is another story). If we do it during daylight, the cats are bombarded by pigeons and our kitties give up and walk away. We don't intentionally feed the pigeons, yet they nest everywhere. We wire off the most obvious places, but now have developed a group of pigeons who nest on the ground under toolsheds, behind and under potting benches, even under a boat. We don't mind them but aren't wild about all the pigeon poop which is all over everything. We feed this product, which is essentially pigeon birth control, to the dozen or so pigeons who congregate here on a tarp which we roll up afterwards to prevent other birds from eating what is left. The tarp is on an old sandbox, so it has defined edges and the pigeon birth control can't roll out everywhere. Although there is never anything left except the odd crumble. (note: the picture includes only one pigeon who saw my photo shoot and came and joined me.) We have been feeding this product to the pigeons for about 2 months and in that time, there has been only 1 new pigeon family that we know of. Prior to that, we were finding pigeon eggs a couple of times a month. My biggest complaint is that you have to buy so much at one time and so it is very expensive. However, I think it works. The pigeons are enthusiastic about eating it (although it took about a week of feeding it in a blend with something they liked better before they recognized it as food) and wait for me every morning. Sometimes I mix the birth control pellets with leftover cat food but they will eat it plain. I must admit that regularly interacting with pigeons has made me appreciate them more -- but am still not a fan of their waste.
