Small router delivered quick
My previous router stopped working and this device had overnight shipping. We're only paying for 100mbps internet, so this device is perfect! A lot smaller than I was expecting, but if it works, it works.

Fast Ethernet as advertised. But great little AP.
As advertised! great little AP or Router. Caution 10/100 fast ethernet ports. including uplink. But still gets the job done.

compact, powerful, and delivers consistently strong Wi-Fi
This TP-Link router is compact, powerful, and delivers consistently strong Wi-Fi throughout the house. Setup was quick and hassle-free, and the four antennas provide excellent range, even through walls. Great speed for streaming and multitasking. A reliable and budget-friendly upgrade!

WIll never give WIFI 2.4Ghz 300mbps or 5Ghz 867mbps
This review is for the 2nd TP-Link Archer C54 wifi router that I purchased. I thought the 1st was defective but actually TP-Link or the seller Quality Photo are misleading Amazon buyers when they state in the listing "The 2.4GHz band delivers speeds up to 300Mbps, ready for everyday tasks like emailing and web browsing, while the 5GHz band delivers speeds up to 867Mbps ". While it's true that the 2.4 and 5Ghzindustry specifications say these radio frequencies have that capability the manufacturer's use of 10/100 ethernet ports creates a bottleneck that will limit the speed to the maximum speed of th ethernet WAN port. In this case 100Mbps. This router is built with 10/100Mbps ethernet ports for both the WAN and LAN ports. Anyone (like me) paying for a HighSpeed ISP of more than 100Mbps will be dissapointed when the maximum speed they will get from this router is 100Mbps from either WiFi or ethernet cable connected. Returning both TP-Link Archer C54 Wifi Routers now! Amazon should tell Quality Photo to correct this listing and not mislead buyers!

Not so fast as described
It works but it is restricted tov200mbps on all channels not just wired, it says 800+ in description. Going to keep it though as an access point

QoS works great. ***Router will limit Internet download / upload to 100Mbps***
Bought this to deal with lag in online gaming while other house mates used the connection. With QoS enabled (and the PS4, on WiFi, set to 'priority' in the Qos settings) all lag has been completely eliminated - even with 2 TVs streaming and other devices using the network.Running an Ookla speed test without a device set to priority will show ping spikes during the download and upload test. Ping will jump up to 300/400+ at moments. If I set that same device to 'priority', the download and upload ping will remain low and stable across the duration of the test.As other people have mentioned, this router WILL limit your Internet connection speed (that is data coming in and going out from your location) to 100Mbps. This is because the WAN port is only 100Mbps max.Our connection is actually 300Mbps, but we only stream and game so it really doesn't matter, 100Mbps is enough for that. Low and consistent latency is more important. This may not be the case for others. If you are trying to find a router with good, simple QoS and don't care so much about absolute bandwidth, for $20 you can't go wrong with this.
