Universal Backlit Remote Control for LG Smart TV Magic Remote Compatible with All Models of LG TV (NO Voice Function No Pointer Function)

I have 2 LG Smart TV's and this remote was able to control both TV's right out of the box without any hassle or programming. The remote costs less than its competitors, and, in my opinion, outperforms them easily. The backlighting is super convenient, and the remote itself is nearly identical to the OEM remote that comes with a lot of LG smart TV's, so it's well designed and super easy to use. If you have an LG Smart TV in your bedroom, and you struggle to see the buttons on your OEM remote, this remote control is an absolute must!

The controller that came with my new LG tv is good but I wanted one that lights up. This one lights up but you have to push a button for the light. What would make this controller perfect is if the light was a motion activated one like my Dish controller. However, this remote control synced with my tv right out of the box. I didn’t have to input codes until I found the one that connects the controller to the tv like we used to. I give it 5 stars because it works perfectly just as advertised.

I was elated to show my husband that these remotes worked right out of the box. Just abra-ca-dabra here ya go, remote with lights.LG remote are lacking in lights and abundant in buttons. A nightmare for any TV frequenter or worse for the less antiquated.However, o and a big However. These buttons stick, slide, lag, jump. And the rolling scroll in the middle was a neat technique with our mouses' in the 90s but this on this remote is far far from convenient.I bought two and if your reading this, how many amazon buys have you returned?I'd like to get rid of these two money pits immediately. But they will just become a nuisance until they find file 13 or the playroom.$23 a piece (x2) and I'm eating it.My phone app updated for the remote and I much prefer it.However husband would love a _simple_ remote that LIGHTS UP!! I bought this remote mainly because it has backlit buttons, which the original LG remote lacks—and in that regard, it delivers perfectly. It’s great for use in the dark and makes navigating much easier at night.It does a solid job of replacing the LG remote, but I’d say only about 90%. It doesn’t include the pointer feature, and the scroll wheel in the middle is overly sensitive, which can be a bit frustrating.Bottom line: I use this remote in dark settings for the backlight, but switch back to the original LG remote in well-lit rooms.

Super happy, they said no programming but I thought no doesn’t probably really mean no and guess what put the batteries in and you are ready to go. Everything works. couldn’t find a little light to put on my old remote, and this remote cost even less than the light. I think I’ll buy one for every room.

This is a nice alternative to the stock remote that came with our LG tv. It feels nice in the hand, it has text on the buttons to help some people understand their meaning. Overall it seems like a great remote. I had to take away 2 stars because never in my entire life have I received a remote control that did not come with batteries. Very disappointed that I had to go get batteries for this.

I was worried this might be a cheap knockoff type remote. Boy, was I wrong. This remote is PERFECT. It worked immediately out of the box. The backlight is just the right brightness and the buttons have a really satisfying click. I enjoy watching YouTube to unwind after work and this remote destroys the remote that came with my TV.
