I bought this as a replacement for my t mobile hotspot that accidentally fell in a lake and it made me glad my old one broke. It gets great signal strength no matter where I go. I just had to insert my sim card and it was ready to be used. I love that the password is saved on the device I always seem to forget it. And it's so small it can be thrown in my purse and taken on the go with the kids so they stay busy on the long car rides.

If you get this product, it’s most likely not gonna work. The the sun is gonna be used up and you’re gonna have to purchase a new one . I’ve tried buying a new Sim, but I can’t find them anywhere because of how old machine is if I could find a sim maybe it would have been better but this device when bought from the seller is useless

This device is lock to tmobile sim, if you put another network sim in it. It will say.invalid sim. You can get this unlock by googling it. I got it unlock for free and got it to work flawlessly with other sims. Look for github. And follow the instructions there and get the code. Setup youe apn network within the hotspot and your good to go.Ill update this once i see how the performance and connection goes.

I got this to set up some Wi-Fi cameras at a property that is vacant due to a death in the family to keep an eye on it. Unfortunately, some poor software design choices make unattended use problematic.1. If it is run without the battery and there is a power outage, when power is restored the device will remain in a powered off state requiring manual push of the power button to turn it back on.2. If it is run with the battery installed, the device will eventually get upset about this and display a message to disconnect from power to avoid over-charging the battery. If you don't do that, it will shut off, again requiring manual intervention.To work-around this, I set up a smart outlet that removes power periodically throughout the day so that the battery is sometimes charging. That's a cumbersome work-around that shouldn't be necessary. A better solution would be to run without the battery and connect through a UPS -- also a complex setup that shouldn't be necessary.

It works smoothly. I had to get it and now it meets my needs. Only battery is really bad. I didn't calculate before but I guess it work totally over 10 hours with a full battery. I turned off-on a few times maybe this caused. I don't know.
