QSERONAC Compressor Control Solenoid Valve 5SE09C 5SE12C 6SEU16 TSE17C TSB17C TSB19C is suitable for TOYOTA Camry 2.5L 2012-2017,for Toyota Avalon 3.5L 2013-2017,Sienna RAV4 Corolla

I have a 2013 Toyota Sienna XLE with 230k miles. The A/C was blowing cool not cold. I watched several YouTube videos on how how to replace it. I ordered this unit, and it only took a couple of days to arrive. I drained the refrigerant, then removed the electric fan assembly. Get you a good set of snap ring pliers. Not the Harbor Freight ones, but some quality ones. I’m not knocking HF in any way. Most of my tools come from there. So anyway, I removed the snap ring holding it in and I twisted it slightly and then tapped it in using a small rubber mallet. I then went to O’rielly Auto Parts and Loan-A-tooled a A/C vacuum pump and pulled a vacuum. Then filled the system with 29 ounces of refrigerant. It started getting cold. I drove down the road and the thermometer was reading 35 degrees. Front and rear A/C is working flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier. It is the end of June and I have to turn down the A/C because it gets chilly in the van. Time will tell how long it lasts but for $25 for the part and $25 for refrigerant, it’s hard to beat.

After watching many videos and articles about this issue, I decided I would try my hand at fixing our dearly loved Lucy. Lucy (our 2012 Toyota Sienna named for our oldest daughter who loves 'I Love Lucy') like my wife, is starting to go through some changes. And by that I mean they both have started to experience hot flashes. Lucy's AC wasn't working quite like it had in the past. With 260,000 miles, it can only be expected that she might start experiencing problems.I don't want her to hear this and since she was made before Toyota offered the option for internet connected cars, she can't stumble upon this review. From what I have read, often the recommendation with these issues would be to replace the entire compressor. However, I could not see spending probably thousands to get the ac fixed. It has been a hot Alabama summer here and doing nothing really wasn't going to work with the wife, 3 kids and my mother.The issue was that the ac worked... sometimes, though not very consistently or well. I tried one of those recharge kits from Wally world and the gauge for the low side showed too much pressure in the system. After researching, I found that this valve is possibly the culprit. I used my local hardware stores loan-a-tool program to get gauges and a vacuum pump and some little cans of freon and in just a few hours had Lucy as cool as she had ever been. I honestly couldn't believe that it worked, but this saved us thousands of dollars!
