Look here for important details re entering programming mode!!!
Most have no problem with these, but I, along with a handful of others was not able to enter programming mode. Why? Because 99.9% of instructions are not specific, enough. I got these for a 2004 Ford Ranger. To enter programming mode you have to turn the key from off to on 8 times, at which point the door locks will cycle (and then you do the button pressing on the fobs). Here's why the door lock cycling (and entering programming mode) might not happen for you:- For some, the driver door needs to be left open.- For some, you need to have the door closed and press the door unlock button, first.- For one guy, he had to start and stop the car 3 times.- For some, you need to do 5 or 10 times instead of 8.MOST IMPORTANTLY (the one that worked for me): When you cycle the ignition you need to go back and forth between the 2nd and 3rd key positions, NOT the 1st and 3rd.1st position - steering locked and car off.2nd position - steering unlocked, car off, accessories (radio and others) can be used.3rd position - ignition is on.4th position - to start the car.Out of all the digging I did to find answers ONLY ONE PERSON mentioned that when you cycle the key it needs to be between positions 2 and 3. NOT 1 and 3.Hopefully this helps you.

Works great and simple to program
First, let me say that you can program these fobs. It's very simple. I bought a used Ford pickup that didn't come with the fobs, so I ordered these. They came ready to program. I didn't have to get batteries or anything else. They do not come with a key ring. They arrive as pictured in the Amazon ad.When you recieve the package it will have website addresses to access for programing directions. There is a long list of vehicles. You choose your vehicle from the list and it shows the programing steps. The steps are different depending on the vehicle but very clear and simple to follow. I did the whole process sitting in the driver's seat with the fobs by my side. They work just as a factory fob would.I can't speak to longevity term reliability or performance but initial impression says highly recommend.

Great remotes, easy setup.
These work perfectly for my 2013 Ford Explorer. The instructions that come with them send you to website showing how to program a key. Went on YouTube and found right way to program, very simple. To program just turn your ignition on eight time without starting, you will hear a chime, press any button on the remotes and bingo, all set. Took less than 5 minutes and both remotes work great. Highly recommend for extras.

AWESOME
These are perfect! So easy to program and work great. To program on our 2008 Ford F250 cycle the ignition key from OFF to RUN eight times within 10 seconds, ensuring the eighth cycle ends in the RUN position. The doors will make a locking sound, wait till that finishes THEN push a button on the remote and it should be programmed. If it isn't, repeat this process. Saved soooo much money!!

Just like the original
These worked great. But the distance seems a little shy. Gunna try new batteries and see. But a great bargain.

Very Good But The Range is Short
It was very easy to program and its the actual size of the OEM one. All the button work well but the only issue is the range is not as long as the OEM one by any means.
