Best Shower Cap I’ve Ever Used – Stylish, Comfortable, and Effective!
I absolutely love the Kitsch Luxury Shower Cap for Women – Terracotta Checker! This isn’t your average shower cap — the flexi fit and adjustable design make it super comfortable and secure, with no slipping or annoying forehead dents. The satin lining is such a thoughtful touch, keeping my hair smooth and frizz-free, whether I’m protecting a blowout or just skipping wash day.The large size is perfect for long, thick hair (or even if you have a bun or curls piled on top), but it still fits snugly without feeling bulky. Plus, it’s cute enough to wear without feeling silly — I actually look forward to putting it on!It dries quickly, doesn’t get gross or mildewy, and the terracotta checker print is so chic and modern. Honestly, this cap checks all the boxes: stylish, functional, reusable, and great quality. If you’re tired of flimsy shower caps that don’t hold up, this one is totally worth the upgrade!

Keep your style secure!
This is the most unusual shower cap I've ever used and I love it! This is not your traditional enclosed shower cap that you hope has enough room to stuff all of your hair into. This is open on both ends with waterproof exterior and a lovely soft satin interior. You pull the tube down over your head and hair, kind of around your neck, and the pull the top up, and let your hair slide into the cap. Then you use the wire edging at the top to roll the top closed. There is a small loop on one side that I like to hook the wire through and bend to keep it securely closed - I also use the loop to hang it to dry. This kept my hair completely dry (except a tiny bit at the base of my skull) and didn't require me to put my hair in a bun, and mess up my curls. I do have some minor concerns about long term use and the possibility of the wire eventually breaking from all the bending and twisting, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I love the high quality of Kitsch products, and this is no different - the material is super thick and luxurious feeling - and the cherry print is adorable. This shower cap is almost $24 ($23.99 at the time of this review) which seems like a lot, but in my opinion it's worth it for the quality and the convenience of keeping my style intact during my showers. I'm so glad I ordered this and will be on the lookout for more!

Why Didn't I Buy One Sooner?
I used to think shower caps were just something you find in hotel bathrooms. For years, I’ve wrapped a towel around my head to keep my hair dry while showering—but let’s be honest, that’s not exactly reliable. Towels fall off, get wet, or come undone halfway through. This shower cap has been a total game-changer. It keeps my hair protected while I shower and is also perfect for keeping my hair out of the way when I’m doing my makeup. It’s held up for months and still works great. Definitely a smart, simple investment I wish I’d made sooner!

Nice but Awkward
I think I’d rate this more like 3.5 if I could. It’s a very nice cap with lots of room and a very soft satin lining. I have very long hair, and frequently have issues keeping my hair in a shower cap so I was excited to try this. The instructions show someone with loose hair using this, but I found I needed my hair secured in a bun to use this. It was very roomy as promised, and after I figured out how to bend the inside wire it did feel secure. It’s just a little awkward for me to use. I had to flip over to help contain my messy bun, and then messed with bending the wire a few times.Positives are it fits long hair, it is very soft, and it will keep you dry. Negatives are that it’s a bit awkward to use. Due to the design being awkward and the price of about $24 I subtracted 1.5 stars. If it was easier to use I’d say it’s 100% worth it based on quality and size.

Keeps your hair dry
Best hair cap I’ve used ever! I hate when I have a high bun and my regular shower cap won’t come down over my ears or lifts up in the back. I love that I can pull this up from my neck and make sure all my hair is in there. Easy to wrap and lock it all in.

Not like the regular shower caps - weird design, cute print
I have another version of a Kitsch shower cap that works really well so I was excited for this new cherry print! However, it is a different style than many of the other Kitsch shower caps in that there's two openings and at one end there is a wire that you bend to roll and seal it. I have some reservations about how long this will actually last considering you're bending the wire and if you use this every day, it is bound to break. So far it's fine but I'm skeptical on the longevity. I love that the interior is a smooth satin though. It's downright weird AND it doesn't come with any instructions- I had to come look it up on the listing and even then they're not great. While it works, there is a LOT of extra fabric that is just annoying to me in the shower. If you have a lot of very voluminous and/or very, very long hair then the extra space may be perfect. However, if your hair is medium to long then this is likely more trouble than it's worth.

Too cumbersome
Updated: After I wrote my review, the company contacted me and offered a refund. I've decided to edit my review because with good customer service like that, trying this product is a low risk.Original review (2 stars):It has a nice feel, but the design is cumbersome. It takes some work to get my hair into it and then I have to roll it up with a wire. After two months of use, the wire has gotten a weird shape and it’s getting harder to secure it. I am giving up and buying a fully enclosed traditional shower cap to replace it.

Nicest shower hat I have owned.
Nicest shower hat I have owned. It is difficult for me to get on and off but if I tie my hair up first and tuck it in then put the hat on the back of my head and pull over the forehead it seems to work well.
