Fun yoyo, very nostalgic
I loved yoyos when I was a kid and as soon as I saw this I decided that I had to have it. The yoyo works great - it does initially need a little bit of set up, so expect to tie a knot, but once that's sorted it's like being transported back to the playground. Your muscle memory takes over and suddenly you're doing all manner of tricks again. It feels good in the hand and I think it would be the perfect yoyo for a kid to start playing with. Good value for money!

Purple Yo-Yo
Nothing major to say here. It's a decent yo-yo, great value for money with everything you get in the set. Easy to store and it all seems good quality, it is standing up well to it's use so far.

I'm useless at Yo-yo-ing!
I love the purple colour of this yo-yo. There are intermittent crazes for yo-yo-ing at school, and I thought it would be fun to be able to do it too. I am pathetic at it, yet with all the strings provided, I will surely master the basics soon, I think I need to shorten the string so it doesn't touch the floor? The yo-yo itself is well-made, and supplied in a zipped reinforced pouch which is excellent, having a pocket inside to house the spares which come with it. Not sure what the 3-fingered glove is for though...

Convertible responsive/non-responsive yo-yo
I've tried a few different yoyos courtesy of the Amazon Vine program including others under the 'Magicyoyo' brand. This one is initially a responsive yoyo - i.e. one for beginners or kids as it's much simpler to use than a non-responsive yoyo. With a responsive yoyo it's easier to get the yoyo back to the starting position between each bounce, whereas a non-responsive one requires a 'trick' to get it back up.However, the clever part of this yoyo is that it also includes a non-responsive bearing so that you can convert the responsive yoyo to a non-responsive one. This is brill so that the yoyo can grow with you as you become more comfortable with yoyo'ing and want to expand into new tricks (that require non-responsive throws). This one is also plastic rather than metal which fits with being a more beginner yoyo initially as learners are more likely to hit the floor or other obstacles and cause more damage if it were metal. The metal ones are more durable but the plastic ones do less damage generally. The colour of this one is a little plain. I do prefer a more bold design/colour as the purple of this one is not very bright - but it is as expected. As usual it comes with a set of spare strings of various colours, which will last you a while and some instructions to get you going along with a yoyo (3-finger) glove. The zipped carry case is also fantastic. It comes (as usual) unstrung so you have to follow the instructions to get your first string on.You also get the replacement bearing and a bearing puller tool to swap over the bearings.Overall, this yoyo is slightly more expensive than some of its competitors but does have the additional feature of being convertible too from responsive to non-responsive. So you're actually kind of sneakily getting two yoyo's for the price of one. i think it's as cheap as any around with this convertible feature.5 stars from me.
