Works great for my microgreens

I love alfalfa sprouts & the ones in stores are rank. I love these mats for growing alfalfa sprouts becuz you can run water thru it to keep everything fresh but the sprouts stay so entangled in the mat, the water doesn't wash them away. Yet, when time to pick, about half the roots pull on out of the mat, to be eaten with the sprouts & the other half of the roots stay lodged in the mat, impossible to clean, so I consider this a one-time growing mat.

Minus 1 star for the fact they are cut short by 1/2 inch. I cut them down to a smaller size to use for my self watering microcgreens. I wash them well first before using. Since they come from China, who knows what is in them?Overall, my microgreens are very happy!

No dirt and fits my 10x10 hydroponic trays. I have been growing pea sprouts, basil, micro greens and violas all winter long with grow lights. Yay!

I use these mats to grow broccoli and kale microgreens hydroponically. They work well.

With the large size they can be cut to fit any microgreens trays, very handy
