Handy tool!
Works great. Shot the lines on a mezzanine height placement. End result - perfectly level.Also used at night to sight high water levels relative to a building site. Worked well out to 200 or more feet.

Tripod and case info
The media could not be loaded. Opened the box today batteries were at 80 percent. The hard box is just that a hard box. And i had to modify the foam to achieve the proper fit ,No o ring π. Laser looks good and sturdy. The tripod crank shaft tensioner was broken. Will be putting the whole deal to the test tomorrow at work. Worth the price difference for the tripod and hard case? π No, I will probably go get a better case cheaper, and for the tripod ... love the concept might need a little more height and for the set screw to be designed differently. Overall so far so good π

Neat little tool. Poor quality battery pack.
The level is pretty cool.It would be way cooler if it worked for more than a day.The battery pack seems to have stopped working after the initial charge ran out (around 10 hours of use).When I attempt to recharge it, even overnight, the power display only shows around 14% and the level will operate for maybe 3 minutes before cutting out.Too bad. I was initially thrilled about how well this little guy was working.
