MaxiClimber Works Wonders, Lost Three Pounds in Five Days/ Buy with confidence/ Great support & they have FaceBook Page Too

The media could not be loaded. If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased.MaxiClimber Review:Pros:* Automatically records your use of MaxiClimber* GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT I've contacted several times for hand holding before purchase* MaxiClimber has Applications for 21 day challenge iPhone and Android (Would not load on my iPod as claims has to be sixth generation)* Great smoothie recipes... Have not tried them, but using them have come up with some of my own. Interesting concept* Used five days and have already lost three pounds* Smooth action with cable and pulley for climber* Sturdy well built. Has both exercise and storage positions that lock in place with the use of a sturdy stainless steel push rod.* Lightweight under 35 pounds making it easy to move.Cons:* Can damage rollers if improperly using machineOkay I saw a lot of videos on YouTube featuring this machine. I've used a VersaClimber machine in the past at the spa. Even those machines can have troubles with friction. For the most part I think MaxiClimber has the friction problem minimized the best they can. Also was considering a VersaClimber but they are ten times the expense, a whole lot larger, and still need maintenance. All machines need to be maintained properly to continue smooth operation. Now if you really want to loose weight and still watch TV. Just put this in front of your TV and use your MaxiClimber while watching the tube.... Your brain may turn to mush, as mine already has, but your body will get toned up in no time. Lastly get at a minimum a vinyl carpet runner 28” x 60” to protect your floor or carpet from all the sweat that will be pouring off your body.Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. I've been on Amazon as a customer for over twenty years. I don't get compensated for my reviews. (Not that I wouldn't like to be.) I pay for Amazon Prime so I get any of the perks that come with my Prime membership.

Durable machine and used daily.

I have owned a Maxiclimber since June 2020. I have been using it consistently throughout the past three years. In 2023, I have been using it daily. What I like:- Well, I enjoy working out on the Maxiclimber. I use it at least 30-60 minutes when I hop on. The intensity of the workout is based on how much effort you want to put in, as it is your body weight that is supporting the resistance anyway. I use this machine contorting my body in all different ways as I workout, to target different muscle groups more, and have only slightly tipped over. It well balanced and can handle really hard workouts if you upkeep with it (such as cleaning the the rollers and metal, lubricating the rollers).- I appreciate that it can fold up for easy storage. While I normally just keep it open, there are times when the weather is nice outside and I want to take my workout outdoors. It's not a problem with the Maxiclimber, and I love to put a long climbing session in when the wind is blowing hard.- I thought the foam grips might be cheap and not long-lasting when I first purchased the Verticlimber, but they're holding up well and seem suited for gripping I must do to successfully workout. Only one of the foam pads has finally started disintegrating and crumbling. Will just replace the grips with bicycle grips probably.- It is low impact on your knees and back. I have some slight knee issues and feel no stress on them when using this machine. What I don't like:- I don't like how clunky the activity logger on the central part of the machine is. I am 6'0'' and found that my thighs would crash into the plastic casing sometimes when trying to go hard on the machine. I ended up just removing the black plastic case that was mounted to the verticlimber, as my phone can keep the time for me.- I do not like how wobbly the extended top handles feel sometimes. In certain situations, when gripping the top handles and while working out, the top bars fit inside the connecting base with extra space inside. So if you are pulling down on a stride while climbing, you may hear a clanking sound. This has been happening to my unit since 2023, and I can feel when it happens and try to control it, but when I am exhausted from a tough workout I may not be able to stop the clanking as much as my hands pull down on the handles. That's it though. The pros of the Verticlimber certainly outweight the cons in my opinion. I was apprehensive of climbing devices when I first started looking for home workout equipment, so settled on this affordable verticlimber. Now, I find myself wanting to use that more than anything else in my house or even going to the gym. I originally though I may want the upgraded version of this unit when mine finally breaks, but why ruin a great experience?Update: 11/30/2024I wanted to edit and update my post. The original machine I use still works. My rollers were starting to wear out and I felt a noticeable rumble but I was able to order 6 replacement rollers very easily from the manufacturer for about 17 dollars (with shipping). My cable was starting to wear out and shred apart, but I ordered a new a-style 59" cable from amazon for 6 dollars to replace the original. In total I have spent around 25 dollars to upkeep this Maxiclimber in 4 years of owning it. The machine works very well again and I am impressed at how easily it is to replace worn parts.
