I did have to lend a hand when pieces were mixed in one bag, but it was all part of the fun. The mini-figures are charming, albeit with slightly peculiar arms. The set has a launch gantry and light-up blocks that add a bit of wonder to playtime. While some might feel it's not premium, the sturdiness and interactive features ensure entertaining play sessions, making it an excellent creative outlet. This set isn't just a toy - it's an imaginative experience, perfect for weekends when the Scottish weather doesn't encourage outdoor fun.

My grandchiled loved building it it was fun and as good as Lego but 1/4 of the price

I will go straight to the things that I don't like about this set.- instructions: it is on three separate sheets of paper with very small images and are placed very tightly, not separated by anything. That makes it Very confusing and it is not very clear which sheet you should start with.- pieces are not segregated into some sort of order/steps. instead you have to open all of the bags to start doing it because different pieces for lets say a shuttle are in 5 different bags. there is no indication about which bag is for what,- leftover pieces - there are quite a lot of "spare" parts with three pieces that looks like a an engine that have batteries inside and they lights up. There are also 6 spare wheels, some wheel cover and some other parts that looks like they were put inside by mistake. To make it worse there is nothing about it in the instruction so why?- some parts are not holding well and the design in few places is just very bad.- quality is not great: some parts quality is just poor. For example some hands for mini figures fell off or are very loose and it is very easy to lose them. however, some other hands are so tight that it is very hard to put them in and to move them around.What I like about it:- it looks fairly good when it's done. It is not too big but it is big enough to have a good play with it. There are even doors for load compartment with some moving arm. The idea is good but the quality of design and stability of the whole construction is not good.- kids love it: my kids especially my 6 year old loves this set. He likes playing with it but I have to fix it a lot as some parts don't hold well together.Verdict:There is not much good about this set except it looks good and my kids like to play with it. Unfortunately, instructions are not the worst I have seen but they are bad and chaotic which translates into much more difficult build than it is. Spare parts that are not mentioned in the instructions are simply pointless and some things are just too loose and it is too easy to brake them.

This space shuttle themed brick building kit wasn’t the smoothest build, all of the pieces are mixed together in one bag which makes it quite hard to assembly as you end up with a table full of unorganised bricks! The instructions are step by step and fairly simple, although they’d be much easier to follow if they weren’t all crammed on small pages! The end result is a really nice looking spaceship preparing for launch, which looks very cool on the shelf! The mini figures let it down a tad with their weirdly long and strangely proportioned arms!

Space exploration shuttle toys.This was on sale for £38.99 when I got it. This is very much of the same ilk as Lego and other brick based building blocks. The instructions are clear and easy enough to follow, though some younger children might need help building it all up, but they’ll love playing with the set. Loads of opportunities for creative play. A very nice set indeed.

At £40 (at time of review) this does feel like it's trying too hard to fit with other pricier building blocks.The design of the shuttle is great, and the whole launch gantry is well thought out. But its not the best, its still pretty awesome even though the build time isn't considerable, so its fun to do it, but doesn't require too much concentration, the instructions are easy to read.But the blocks themselves feel a little cheap, I mean it's not that 4 lettered brand, but I have to say "So what?" this is exactly the same, albeit a little cheap feeling. I was a little let down with the characters, they didn't seem particularly well designed, as they seemed to have arms too long for their bodies.Honestly though I enjoyed building it, and the shuttle looks good now it's done, plus when its taken apart and put in the huge tub with the other pieces, nobody will even notice what blacks they are using :)A little let down with the price though, maybe £25 would be a better price point?
