Android app does not work unless you allow it to see your location.
The Android app 'DSD Tech' app does not work if you deny it permission to see your location. A message pops up (briefly) saying 'Permission denied, scan disabled' and that's it. After that, it didn't respond to screen taps, nor did my phone. In the end, I had to say 'Hey Google, open the Google Play app' and then uninstall it from there.Why is it functionally critical for an app controlling a Bluetooth™ switch to know my location? Seems highly fishy to me. Would it be reporting my location back to Shenzen?The user guide does state: "The app provided by DSD TECH is not perfect. If there is a problem with your app, please close it and reconnect". That doesn't show a lot of faith in their product.I'd rather buy an alternative than have my location being used for no apparent reason.

No instructions for app ;( Perfect for samsung s20plus
The media could not be loaded. So there are 2x ways to power pcb.. 1. Usb 5v. 2. 12v via connections on pcb. I downloaded app. And used 3xvape battery's to power pcb,and switched a laser on and off.It works perfectly.NO WIFI REQUIRED!!!!BLUETOOTH DIRECT SWITCH FROM YOUR PHONE 👍👍👍👌👌👌👏👏👏👏
