Line of sight, 1,700 feet, full signal, couldn't be happier.
I don't have anything bad to say about these antennas! I was able to hook up a point to point connection in about 2 hours over 1,700 feet with line of sight between the two buildings. I get full signal and 300 mbps, for those of you that may be discouraged because they may be more technical than other devices, there are instructional videos from the manufacturer on youtube on topics like configuration and aiming / fine tuning the signal. At 1,700 feet the antennas didn't require any adjustment or fine tuning (maybe I got lucky), I roughly aimed the antennas and made sure the bubble level on the device was centered between the lines. I absolutely love the user interface and how they show you signal strength, speed and distance. The available tools in the interface are also very helpful when determining which frequency to use and fine tuning the aim on the antenna. I had previously tried to use the amped wireless antenna and high power router / repeater combo and invested over $300 in equipment! I wish I had tried these antennas first because it would have saved me a lot of time and returns! If I ever need to setup another point to point wireless connection, Ubiquiti will be the first place I look to. I have had such a good experience with them that I am also looking at their outdoor wireless access points and other products.

Amazing product
I purchased two of these with the goal of linking two local area networks across several miles. The two sites are seperated by a suburban residential neighborhood, with two story houses and trees in the path of the signal. I created a simple 10ft mast extending from the roof of both buildings, and was absolutely blown away by the results. I'm currently getting near perfect (99-100%) signal with no interruptions and zero downtime so far. Files transfer back and forth as if there were 10/100 Ethernet between the two sites. As others have pointed out, setup is not plug and play. You will have to make a few changes within both devices. Fortunately, it's nothing major: just changing a few check boxes and drop down menus. If you can't figure it out, Ubiquiti has awesome how to videos on YouTube.I'm excited to try these devices closer to their 15km range limit. If you're interested in bridging a distance greater than 1000ft and want Ethernet speeds between them, I'd strongly encourage you to give the M5 a try.

NANOBEAMS CONQUER LONG DISTANCE WIFI CONNECTIONS!
Several years ago I found myself looking for a way to connect our two companies that are across the street from each other. The 400ft across Highway 80 seemed easy to span via WIFI but it turned into a nightmare. I tried various Amped Wireless and Linksys equipment which left me with extremely slow and unreliable connections.I recently discovered and upgraded to Ubiquiti Nanobeams and they have changed my life. The installation was as simple as mounting the beams to poles, aiming them at each other, and running cat5e. The web interface is simple but offers many adjustments to maximize the connection strength. I actually reduced the power output on both beams to the bare minimum and have full connection. It is possible to have too much power which creates interference. If I could redo the upgrade, would have chosen the smaller Nanobeam 16 for the small transmission distance. The Nanobeam has a built-in utility that scans all channels and shows on a graph which channels have more interference than others. This feature is AWESOME! Currently I have chosen to run 30MHz on a fixed channel. According to the web interface, I am connected at 220mbps up/down. This translates in real world use to 5 megabytes per second while file transferring.P.S. Ubiquiti I would be happy to review and write a more in-depth review for whatever products you’d like. I’m a new BIG FAN!

Awesome device for extending LAN
Great cost effective product for extending a LAN from one building to another that was nearly 1/2 mile away. I did a visual alignment and got almost 97% signal. Using the amazing built-in Airsoft tools I raised it to 99%.I recommend plugging both in to your LAN and upgrading the software before installing them. For a bridge configuration (e.g. to extend a LAN), configure one side as AP and the other as Station. Great product, great price.

Skip this model and get the M22 or higher.
The AirMax bridges are great but this model and the M16, get stuck on their Ethernet port several times a day. You must use the watchdog ping to keep it working but then you are loosing connectivity several times a day. This is a hardware issue. The M22 and higher are very solid which I do recommend.

Excellent product.
It does what it is supposed to do perfectly...in my case transmit and receive a 10Mbps wifi signal over 1 mile. It does however require software setup by someone with knowledge.

Falsche Produktbezeichnung.
