Found this product from a blog post from Robert Skelton which is a great resource for many popular Lexus GX 470 mod installs.Love the way this camera mounts right between the license plate lights on my 03 Lexus GX 470. Thanks to the wide angle lens, and the steepest view angle gasket, I am able to just barely see the end of the bumper while maintaining a long range field of view behind me.Only thing I wish this camera had was separate leads for ACC and reverse lamp power. Ended up buying ASIN B08WWMX1MZ so I could hook up the included leads for this camera to ACC (rear windshield wiper) then use the trigger wire coming off the extension cord for the reverse lights. This allows the camera to maintain power any time the car is on which is helpful since my head unit (Teyes CC3) can record the back-up camera like a dashcam while also taking the trigger signal to open up the camera view when I go in reverse.Surprisingly no video issues with total wire length of 60+ ft with the extension.

I installed this as a front camera. The camera came with clear instructions so you get the correct view depending on where you mount it. Camera housing is solid metal with metal threads for mounting. Camera view is as good as the the factory installed rear camera, and provides a wide view.I had one technical issue with the camera. I contacted their customer service and Jason took care of everything the same day. It’s been installed for a few weeks now and zero problems. Few companies stand by their products or are as responsive as Natika.

This product is not so bad at all. I am glad that I purchased it. I do want to point out some things. The picture quality could be better, but it's not bad at the same time. I do wish this item had directional reverse lines, so when you reverse to the left or right, it'll guide you. And... The setup for me was pretty easy, me being a background in mobile mechanics. So setting it up was not that bad at all. It just, you have to be very patient if you want to, let's say, hide all the wires professionally. So if I were you, I would definitely get a professional to install this camera if you want it to look its best and be properly installed correctly. Other than that, I do recommend it.

Camera has a good picture and feels like a solid piece of equipment. Sometimes weight of a product can give a clue to how well it is made, and this has some weight.The customer service to cover a product failure is outstanding. The camera I had did start to develop a bit of an issue on the corners of the image and after contacting through email the customer service, they are going to send me out a replacement.I know sometimes a product can have issues, the key though is whether or not a company will cover their product or not.

I’ve installed 7 of these Natika cameras on several of my vehicles over the past few years and they are excellent. Connected most to Kenwood head units, one in ran to the oem screen. On one of my installs, I snapped the cable when fishing it through the firewall grommet. I reached out to the manufacturer customer service directly (not Amazon) and explained what happened and they shipped me, not one but two cables, at their expense. Above and beyond. Great camera, for front or rear (I have used it for both).

I purchased one of these in July 2019 to install on my 4Runner as it was the closest item to a "factory" camera at a much lower (and more affordable) price. I wired this camera to be constant powered while the vehicle was operational (in case I am pulling a trailer). Only issue I ran into at that time was the included cable harness was not long enough with how it had to be routed through the lift gate to make it all the way to the in-dash radio. Natika support was able to recommend an extension that I was able to purchase to complete the cable run. This might be something to be aware of if you are installing in a midsize to large SUV or extended van.The camera has been flashing and blanking out in high temperatures or when sunlight shines on the tailgate for some time now and I had recently seen online that some cameras need a capacitor or something added for issues like this. This information has caused me to reached out to Natika this weekend to see what troubleshooting could be done regarding the issue I've been having. They have asked me to write a review and it sounds like they may send me a new camera, even though I am well outside of the warranty period. If true, this would be above and beyond outstanding customer service! I'm going to leave this at 4 stars for now (and I'm assuming I can update this later).Update - They have sent me a replacement camera, I've gotten it installed, now just need the weather to warm up again to ensure this resolved issues I was having with the original camera.

I bought this camera last year but didn't get around to installing it until a few months ago. Everything was fine up until the camera started reversing the image (the right side is left and the left side is right) a few days ago. I had it professionally installed. I almost got into a wreck because I didn't realize it messed up

I upgraded the Infotainment system in my 2018 Tundra to an android unit which could handle both forward camera as well as the OEM backup camera. Purchased this unit at the recommendation of several on-line sources. The installation went relatively easily - my primary issue was deciding where to draw power for the unit from. The installation sheet was helpful with the decision as well as to how to mount the camera. I mounted it horizontally just below the grill emblem. It provides an excellent wide-angled view forward which is helpful with parking - the nose of the Tundra is so large that it is often difficult to determine just where I am in the parking space - too far forward, or not fully in the space. I subtracted one star because the original camera, when installed, proved to be faulty. I contacted Natika support, and after walking me through a couple of testing steps, quickly sent me a replacement unit. It functioned perfectly right out of the box. Thank You again, Jason.
