first of all, there's no return option so think carefully before you buy this. the box it came in fell apart during transit so it arrived here barely put together. floating inside were misc bolts and screws which fell off the machine. i was able to put them back where they belonged. as i was building it and tightening bolts, the parts already started breaking. not only is the design really bad but the material is absolute trash. in terms of the engine, i got the 50cc and it struggles to move the brushhead. im you are going to use this for anything more than occasional use do not buy this, instead spend the extra money and get a stihl unit.

The product in general worked fine. I do have a few observations I would like to touch on.1. Instructions are very limited and don't explain things very well.2. Very heavy and quite a workout to use3. Uses a fuel ratio that you can't buy off the shelf i.e. 40-1 or 50-1 premixed . I bought the 50-1 and added 2.5 ounces additional oil and worked fineOn the good side it works quite well. I used it to clean up gravel in the grass from snow plowing. Easy to start and plenty of powerI have not been able to figure out how to contact the company, but wonder if a paddle kit replacement for the brushes is available as I think it would be better initially in my situation. A wheel kit would be helpful as well.

My husband and I put this together and went to start it and it won't start. We primed it, we choked it, we did everything you would do for a 2 cycle engine, the only thing is it did turn over but never caught and never stayed ON!! Now, I have been trying to return to Amazon. I called them and asked them how to return a machine that had gas and a VERY LARGE ITEM, they said "NO WORRIES" we will send the UPS guy out to pick it up, no need to package it up (we did drain the gas mixture out of it). When UPS came to pick it up they would NOT TAKE it. It needs to be cleaned out professionally and disassembled. (NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD BY AMAZON) Now we are out almost 400.00 with a large yard machine that does not work, with NO WAY TO RETURN IT!!

1st picture shows 1 of 2 circlip installed completely wrong. The 2nd pic shows the missing broken tang off the incorrectly installed circlip. The rest show the damage caused by the broken tang moving around the combustion chamber. Every 2-stroke engine service manual I have ever seen cautioned to make sure the gap is oriented correctly(inline with connecting rod). Most pistons have a raised tab in the groove to prevent unskilled assembly mistakes.it was cheap and I did not expect it to last years but I used it on one job!

Not only are the instructions to set up a nightmare, after I got it set up and started it for the first time, the transmission shaft snapped inside the handle after 2 minutes of use. Absolute piece of junk, do not buy!
